The contact form
If you fill in the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, your company if you chose to give
one, the option you picked under "What do you need?", and whatever you wrote in the message box.
We use that information for one thing: to reply to you and to talk about the work. We do not add you to a
marketing list from it, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone outside Superpower Labs.
How your message reaches us
Form submissions are delivered as email by Mailgun, our mail provider. Your message passes through their
systems on the way to us, the same way any email passes through a mail server. Once it arrives, it sits in our
email inbox, which is where we answer it from.
If you would rather not use the form, email darren@spl.tech directly. It reaches the same place.
The one thing we store in your browser
The site has a light and dark theme. When you pick one, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage
under the name spl-theme, holding the value light or dark. That is the only
item we store.
It is not a cookie, so it is never sent to our server. It never leaves your browser, it is not tied to you or
to any identifier, and it is not used to track anything. Clearing your browser data removes it, and the site
goes back to following your operating system setting.
What we do not do
No advertising networks. No third party analytics or tracking pixels. No behavioural profiling, no cross site
tracking, and no selling or renting your details to anyone, ever. There is no data broker in this picture
because there is no data worth broking.
Where the site runs
We host this site on our own servers rather than on a third party platform. Like any web server, it keeps
ordinary technical logs of requests (things like the requested page, timestamp, and the requesting internet
address) so we can keep the site up and spot abuse. Those logs are not linked to form submissions and are not
used to build a profile of you.
Asking us to delete your information
Email darren@spl.tech and ask. Tell us the email address
you contacted us from and we will delete the message and your details from our inbox and reply to confirm.
You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold, which in practice is the emails between us.
Changes to this page
If what we collect changes, we update this page and change the date at the top. There is no version history to
hunt through, the page above is always the current answer.
